LOUD & LOUSY

After the day has ended at university, My Housemate and I were totally depressed for the dramas that had transpired. Feeling so much gloomy , I hanged-out at her room. Both of us were starring at the ceiling as if there were stars above us shining glamorously. Okay here's the deal : We both are from different groups in our faculty, so we are circled by different people. Dramas here, Dramas there. Due to dramas happening around us,  we developed a bond, where we acted like we're one in a family. HOW COOL!.


Since things hasn't work out  the way it should be, we started to share our thoughts and feelings. But before that, we like to sing LOUD & LOUSY. And somehow, we had started with a song :- and singing silly

oih~ ... abandon ... and back =) I am more than ecstatic to identify a sign of receiving an email about my Elective Posting from the officer. Yup, I'm conducting my practicals in Hospital Queen Elizabeth 2, Kota Kinabalu during the summer break. YEAH~ 3 weeks of practicals.

Fear took over my body, when I did not receive any feedback from the officer earlier on. I was told, they will give me a reply the next day after I have sent the documents. Moreover, some hospitals are only accepting a certain amount of students. But praise God I GOT IT!

YEAH~ New Environment

Just so you know, Grace has MOVED! Where? Somewhere further than her UNIVERSITY. Stupid? Nah~~~ Though is far, the current Home* is so much better than hostel.
Clean and peaceful...

I had problem with Peace* LAWL~!. It's way too quite. Now, homesick isn't what I'm facing. I rather call it HOSTEL SICK. LAWL Been starring into the empty space for no reason during the first night at apartment. Well, i Guess that's normal!

Somehow, I moved back and forth to hostel too. =) Yeah, missing the hostel life.
But then I went back because I have no chair in my new apartment!!! >.<

Way too SAMPAT* (busybody to shift here and there), a great night turned my world up side down. One of the hostel guard went up to my room and checked the amount of students staying in my Ex-Room ( 3-sharing ). That's rare. I KNOW!!!! And gosh! The first visit, I was unnoticeable. And yea, I stayed with my eX-roommate, chatting all the way, thought that we're saved! Soon, loud knocks on the door can be heard. Instantaneously, our neck turned and starred at each other. Our heart was beating fast like a rabbit on the run.

No Foods (avoid) For Blood Type O

Meats:

* Red Meats: Pork or anything made with it.
* Poultry/Birds: Goose.
* Fish/Seafood:Barracuda, Catfish, Caviar, Lox (Smoked/Cured Salmon, Octopus or Pickled Herring.
* Crustaceans: Conch.

Dairy and Eggs:
All Milk or Milk Products (Ice Cream, Kefir, Yogurt, etc.) aside from cheese occasionally.

Fats and Oils:
Canola Oil, Corn Oil, Cottonseed Oil, Peanut Oil ir Safflower Oil.

Nuts and Seeds:
Brazil, Cashew, Litchi, Peanuts, Pistachios or Poppy Seeds.

Beans and Legumes:
Copper, Kidney, Navy or Tamarind beans. Lentils.

Breads, Cereals and Muffins:
Corn, Oats, or Wheat or products made with them.

Grains and Pasta:
Corn, Oats, or Wheat or products made with them.

Vegetables:
Avocado, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage (Chinese, Red, White), Cauliflower, Corn (White, Yellow), Eggplant, Mushroom (Domestic, Shiitake), Mustard Greens, Olives (Black, Greek, Spanish), Potatoes (Red, White) or Alfalfa Sprouts.

Fruits:
Blackberries, Coconuts, Melon (Cantaloupe, Honeydew), Oranges, Plantains, Rhubarb, Strawberries or Tangerines.

Juices:
Orange or Cabbage.

Spices:
Capers, Cinnamon, Cornstarch, Corn Syrup, Nutmeg, Pepper (Black Ground, White), Vanilla, Vinegar (Apple Cider, Balsamic, Red Wine, White, etc. NOTE: Use fresh squeezed lemon juice instead if vinegar.

Condiments:
Ketchup, Pickles or Relish.

Herbal Teas:
Alfalfa, Aloe, Burdock, Coltsfoot, Corn Silk, Echinacea, Gentian, Goldenseal, Red Clover, Rhubarb, Saint John’s Wort, Senna, Shepherd’s Purse, Strawberry Leaf ir Yellow Dock.

Miscellaneous Beverages:
Coffee (Regular or Decaf), Liquor, Soda (Cola, Diet, Other) or Tea (Regular Black or Decaf.)

Blood type O

Type Os thrive on intense physical exercise and animal protein. Unlike the other blood types, Type Os muscle tissue should be slightly on the acid side. Type Os can efficiently digest and metabolize meat because they tend to have high stomach-acid content. The success of the Type O Diet depends on the use of lean, chemical-free meats, poultry, and fish. Type Os don't find dairy products and grains quite as user friendly as do most of the other blood types.

The initial weight loss on the Type O Diet is by restricting consumption of grains, breads, legumes, and beans. The leading factor in weight gain for Type Os is the gluten found in wheat germ and whole wheat products, which interferes with insulin efficiency and slow down metabolic rate. Another factor that contribute to weight gain is certain beans and legumes (lentils and kidney beans) contain lectins that deposit in the muscle tissues making them less "charged" for physical activity. The third factor in Type O weight gain is that Type Os have a tendency to have low levels of thyroid hormone or unstable thyroid functions, which also cause metabolic problems. Therefore it is good to avoid food that inhibits thyroid hormone (cabbage, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, mustard green) but increase hormone production (kelp, seafood, iodized salt).

Several classes of vegetables can cause big problems for Type Os, such as the Brassica family (cabbage, cauliflower, etc.) can inhibit the thyroid function. Eat more vegetables that are high in Vitamin K, which helps the clotting factor which is weak in Type Os. The nightshade vegetables can cause lectin deposit in the tissue surrounding the joints.

Because of the high acidity stomach, Type Os should eat fruits of alkaline nature such as berries and plums..

Type Os should severely restrict the use of dairy products. Their system is not designed for the proper metabolism. If you are a Type O of African ancestry, you should eliminate dairy foods and eggs altogether. (T.T)
